🏅 Honorary Fellow
The Honorary Fellow title is the highest recognition conferred by IE&ES. It honors individuals of exceptional distinction whose lifelong contributions have significantly shaped the field of environmental sciences and ecotoxicology. Fellows are selected for their influence on policy, innovation in research, and dedicated service to the scientific community.
🧪 Distinguished Scientist Award
This award recognizes established scientists who have made impactful and sustained contributions to the field of ecotoxicology and environmental sciences. The Distinguished Scientist Award honors excellence in research, publications, mentorship, and leadership at the national and international level.
Eligibility: Any scientist engaged in research work in a recognized government/ non-government laboratories/institutes with significant contribution/achievement in any field of science and technology.
Age: More than 35 years of age.
Application fee:
7000 INR/ 83 USD (within 31st August, 2025);
7200 INR/ 85 USD (from 01st to 15th September, 2025)
Selection Procedure:
- Interested scientists may apply in the prescribed format available. Download application form.
- Filled in application form with all relevant documents must be submitted to the Secretariat within 30th September, 2025 electronically to icees2025.9@gmail.com.
- Applications will be scrutinized by expert committee and intimation will be sent electronically to the selected applicants within 15 working days (excluding Sundays and holidays).
- Duly signed acceptance letter must be returned to the Secretariat within 5 working days of intimation.
🌱 Young Scientist Award
The Young Scientist Award acknowledges the achievements of early-career researchers who exhibit potential for making significant advances in the discipline. It is awarded to individuals under 35 years of age who have demonstrated exceptional research output and scientific promise.
Eligibility: Any scientist engaged in research work in a recognized government/ non-government laboratories/institutes field of science and technology.
Age: Not more than 35 years of age.
Application fee:
5000 INR/ 60 USD (within 31st August, 2025);
5200 INR/ 62 USD (from 01st to 15th September, 2025)
Selection Procedure:
- Interested scientists may apply in the prescribed format available. Download application form.
- Filled in application form with all relevant documents must be submitted to the Secretariat within 30th September, 2025 electronically to icees2025.9@gmail.com.
- Each applicant will be required to present a brief presentation of 15 minutes followed by 5 minutes of discussion/question-answer session on his/her research work. Applicants if unable to attend physically, may join online or must send a pre-recorded audio-visual presentation of 15 minutes through e-mail to icees2025.9@gmail.com, latest by 05th October, 2025.
🧬 Prof. Badal Bhattacharya Memorial Award for Best Emerging Scientist
Named in honor of Prof. Badal Bhattacharya, the visionary founder and first president of IE&ES, this memorial award is dedicated to recognizing the Best Emerging Scientist of the year. The award celebrates innovation, originality, and potential among the next generation of environmental scientists.
Eligibility: Best authentic and innovative research work in the filed of greater environmental sciences that can be implemented directly or indirectly for the betterment of the environment and/or human civilization will be awarded from the presented papers amongst the Academicians and Research Scholars category or from Applicants of Young Scientist Awards (subject to consideration of the concerned authority).
Conference Awards
As part of our International Conference on Ecotoxicology and Environmental Sciences (ICEES), IE&ES promotes scientific excellence by recognizing exceptional presentations. These awards encourage participants across academic levels to share, inspire, and innovate.

This award recognizes the most impactful and well-designed poster that effectively communicates research findings. Evaluation criteria include scientific merit, design clarity, and visual appeal.
🧪 Best Model Demonstration
Innovative models and experimental setups that highlight new techniques, concepts, or environmental technologies are honored with this award. Emphasis is placed on originality, applicability, and demonstration effectiveness.
